On November 15, 2022, Serverless Cloud spun off from Serverless, Inc. as a new, independent company named Ampt (see the Serverless, Inc. announcement). Since then, Ampt had been operating Serverless Cloud and supporting existing users while transitioning them to the new platform. Serverless Cloud user migratations were completed in May 2023 and the Serverless Cloud platform officially shut down on June 1, 2023.
No. All other Serverless, Inc. products including the Serverless Framework, Serverless Dashboard, and Serverless Console continue to be operated by Serverless, Inc. Only your access to the Serverless Cloud dashboard and Serverless Cloud CLI are no longer available.
All remaining data on Serverless Cloud will be purged over the next few months. If you were previously an active Serverless Cloud user, your data and files were available for migration during the migration window in May 2023. If you still have data that needs to be accessed, please contact support@getampt.com and we can attempt to retrieve it.
Yes. Ampt is backwards compatible with existing Serverless Cloud apps. You can view the migration guide for more information on installing the
@ampt/cloudadapter, but please note that you can no longer migrate data, storage, and parameters from your old Serverless Cloud account.Ampt is still in private beta. If you were not an active Serverless Cloud user that migrated apps to Ampt, you can join the Waitlist. We will be letting groups of users in on a weekly basis.
