He has also held leadership roles at eBay, Sun Microsystems, and most recently, as a Vice President at Amazon Web Services (AWS), where he led development of its open source strategy, and helped its enterprise and public sector customers migrate to cloud and become more sustainable.
Adrian has a decade of experience advising successful technology startups like NGINX, Instana, Gremlin, Nubank, Harness, Catchpoint, and many Battery Ventures portfolio companies. Adrian expressed his enthusiasm about advising Ampt:
In addition to Adrian, Ampt's board of advisors includes two other distinguished members: Peter Sbarski and Erik Peterson. Peter is an expert in serverless computing and the author of "Serverless Architectures on AWS." As the first employee of A Cloud Guru, he played a crucial role in the cloud education platform's phenomenal growth, leading to a $2B exit to PluralSight in 2021. Erik is the Founder and CTO at CloudZero. Prior to founding CloudZero, Erik served as the Director of Technology Strategy for Veracode where he led Veracode's migration to the Public Cloud, and has over 20 years of software industry experience, including senior leadership and technology roles at HP, SPI Dynamics, GuardedNet, and Sanctum.
Ampt's vision of a simplified cloud interface has garnered support from numerous industry heavyweights. Among these are Khawaja Shams, Shawn "swyx" Wang, Joe Emison, Jean-Denis Greze, Tim Wagner, and Michael Hart. Their collective expertise and experience will undoubtedly contribute to the company's continued growth and success.
